This 3D heart training model combines a soft material
with a high degree of reproducibility to support the needs of medical field.
Since training does not require use of a wet lab, cost is reduced, and training
can be carried out in any environment.

Product Introduction

This heart model is made with soft material, and faithfully reproduces both the inner and exterior structure of the organ. This dry lab model allows for surgical training, such as sutures and incisions using an actual scalpel. One can also insert a catheter into a lumen or coronary artery.

As an educational material mainly targeting beginner doctors,
this device will be widely active in the medical field.

Cardiac surgeries require completion within a short period,
and with the high degree of difficulty, surgery tends to be performed only by the most skilled surgeons.
Therefore, the development of a highly precise 3D heart model contributes to the growth of many beginning doctors,
who can repeatedly practice surgery on a model with high reproducibility.

Training with pig hearts in a wet lab costs money and takes up space,
and in the future such training will likely become more difficult
when one takes into account the current climate regarding animal experimentation.
This product creates the opportunity to train in a dry lab, achieving low cost and allowing surgeons to master procedures under any conditions.

Scene of Regular Adult Model in Use

This extremely realistic 3D heart model is made from scanned CT data. The standard model is offered as a teaching material to replace current wet lab training. It is more precise (high reproducibility) than current models, and achieves a high degree of realism in regards to texture and elasticity. We are developing technology with the goal of producing the most realistic 3D heart models using soft materials.
